UTP Cables/Connectors/Devices for use on New Technology Analog and IP Systems

COAX HISTORY 1. Used in Analog Systems and Early Ethernet. 2. 10MP per second not sufficient today. 3. Legacy COAX can be used today with the advent of PoC devices. 4. Electrically/Mechanically the best connector type - COMPRESSION 5. NEW 75 OHM Universal Compression P/N 302-00CS 75 OHM Universal Crimp-On BNC P/N 301-00-75TP

UTP History/Differences 1. CAT 3 initially developed for telephone systems to block cross talk via the twist rate. 2. CAT5 was then developed to improve the performance with 100MP per second with 24AWG. 3. CAT5e (enhanced) provide 350MP per second. 4. CAT6 provides Gigabits per second with 22 AWG and more twist.

How HD Analog Formats Compare

Analysis and Conclusion

Key Camera Features 1/3” CMOS image sensor provides up to 2.1 megapixel (1080p) resolution. HD-TVI technology transmits zero-latency HD video over coax cable. 3.6mm wide angle lens captures images over large areas. True day/night (ICR) captures sharp detailed images in low light and at night. Integrated IR array illuminates up to 65’ in the dark for around the clock surveillance.

Key Camera Features Smart IR technology prevents the center of the image from being overexposed by IR light. -40F ~ 140F extreme temperature operating range plus IP66 weather-rated housing. Smart defog technology improves image clarity in foggy or rainy weather.

/ Key DVR Features Hybrid+ technology supports HD-TVI, analog and Alibi IP cameras. Supports the following camera resolutions: CIF/D1/960H/720p/1080p. Records 720p HD video@ 30fps per channel, 1080p full HD video @ 12fps per channel. HD-TVI technology transmits zero-latency HD video over coax cable. VGA and HDMI output to monitor at up to 1920x1080 (1080p) resolution.

/ Free iOS/Android mobile app for viewing live and recorded video remotely. Multiple recording modes (continuous, motion detection, schedule and event). Recording features include event search, event log, and e-mail notification. Smart search lets you define and area in your video and only search for motion in that area. H.264 video compression maximizes recording time and saves hard drive space. Supports up to a 4TB surveillance-optimized hard drive for weeks of storage.
