The fibre is most often spun into yarn or thread and used to make a soft, breathable textile. The plant is a shrub native to tropical and subtropical vegions around the world including the America, Africa's, and India. The greatest discovery of wild cotton species is found in Mexico, followed by Australia and Africa. The united stats has been the largest exported, for many years. The fibres then goes to a cotton mill to be turned into cloth. The cotton seeds and pods are turned feed for cattle or made into cotton seed oil. Leftover lint is also used in paper.
