3 3 CDI Webinar Sept. 5, 2012  CDI community members identified the need for better data management in USGS as a critical area on which to focus  We need to better manage our data such that it can be re-used and understood by researchers now and in the future Why develop a Data Management Website?

4 4 CDI Webinar Sept. 5, 2012  CDI recognizes that there are people and Programs in the Survey who are performing good data management. The website will provide a place to highlight and share those best practices Why develop a Data Management Website?

5 5 CDI Webinar Sept. 5, 2012  CDI funded “Phase 2” of the website development in FY12  Content Team: Heather Henkel, Viv Hutchison, Lisa Zolly, Trent Faust, and Michelle Chang  Content collected from CDI community when possible Data Management Website: Background
