4 ∞ It’s a word that takes the place of the noun.

5 ∞ Bob is nice. Bob is my friend. ∞ By using the same word twice can make the sentence sound chopping so using pronouns gives the sentence more of a “flow” ∞ Bob is nice he is my friend.

6 ∞ It’s a pronoun with a clear antecedent.

7 ∞ The girl is running in circles and she is going to fall down. ∞ The bull is charging at the man it almost hit him.

8 ∞ This is used when the noun is being replaced and it is unknown.

9 ∞ Who is going to the store ∞ What dog is yours?

10 ∞ There is also three types of adjectives ∞ 1. The “regular” adjective ∞ 2. The proper adjective ∞ 3. The compound adjective

11 ∞ An adjectives describes (modifies) a noun.

12 ∞ The spotted dog was very happy when his owner brought home a chew toy that looked like a scared cat.

13 ∞ A proper adjective is always capitalized.

14 ∞ The American flag is red, white, and blue. ∞ The Eiffel tower is very tall.

15 ∞ It’s an adjective but with two words.

16 ∞ The flower is an orange-yellow color. ∞ Babe Ruth is a well-known baseball player.

18 ∞ 1. Listen to the question ∞ 2. Then hit the bell ∞ 3. Who ever hits the bell the fastest gets to answer ∞ 4. If you get the question right you get a candy ∞ 5. If not, the other person gets to guess
