BCPS Curriculum 6.4.7. Students will identify and determine ways to address bullying behavior in order to decrease the possibility of being victims. Maryland State Curriculum 5.0. Safety and Injury Prevention - Students will demonstrate the ability to apply prevention and intervention knowledge, skills, and processes to promote safe living in the home, school, and community. Indicator 5.6.3. Recognize various forms of harassment and intimidating behaviors. Common Core State Standards Reading: 1. Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text. Writing: 7. Conduct short as well as more sustained research projects based on focused questions, demonstrating understanding of the subject under investigation.
