Availability of Radio Frequency Spectrum for Meteorology, Climatology and Earth Observation, for both Operations and Research, under threat The proposal is to include Radio Frequency Coordination Activities into the WIGOS Regional Plans to: > Increase visibility of this complex issue at regional and national levels > Engage NMHSs to: - Register their frequencies - Strengthen relationship with national telecommunication authorities advocating importance of availability of adequate spectrum for saving lives and properties WMO Regional Association III
