13. 10-Bed Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Stabilization Unit (CAPSU) Short stay assessment and crisis stabilization children and youth age 6 - 17 years in acute psychiatric crisis requiring urgent hospital intervention Rapid turnover: 5-7 day length of stay Capacity to manage high acuity and elopement for at-risk patients Specialized multidisciplinary team with dedicated child and adolescent psychiatrists Will operate 24 / 7
