4 e-Frame general objectives and specific results General objectives 1.Stocktaking of available results and of ongoing research activities on the measurement of well-being and societal progress 2.Fostering European debate 3.Defining guidelines for the use of existing indicators 4.Proposing a coherent way of “delivering” information (areas of interest, statistical information) 5.Identifying new topics to be put at future research agendas 6.Harmonising National Statistical Institutes initiatives in progress measurement area

7 Within WP12 “Dissemination and Communication”, Istat is in charge of coordinating the setting up of a: "European Network of researchers, practitioners, civil society organizations and policy makers with the aim to maintain the different stakeholders in touch during the duration of the project and beyond“ The structure of the network has to permit that: "Members of the network communicate mainly through the e-Frame website and the WikiProgress platform“ The European Network sets a meeting place in a dedicated section of Wikiprogress.org website. The setting up of its structure is being defined together with the OECD Wikiprogress Team The management of the Network benefits from the support of partners for the spreading of it through the Member States e-Frame: European Network

8  To set the interrelation between e-Frame and Wikiprogress: -in the home page of www.eframeproject.eu link to www.wikiprogress.orgwww.eframeproject.euwww.wikiprogress.org -in wikiprogress.org a dedicated section on e-Frame project (under construction)  To enhance a wide debate in the home page of e-Frame website presence of links to social networks (Facebook, Linked-in and Tweet) Members of the e-Frame European Network are: -e-Frame 19 partners -EC DGs and Eurostat contacts -other researchers, practitioners, civil society organizations and policy makers who join the network (because invited or autonomously) e-Frame: European Network

9 Members of the e-Frame European Network will be organized in a data base, managed by Istat, that will be set up through a registration form present in the home page of www.eframeproject.euwww.eframeproject.eu The data base will permit to create: -a general mailing list for e-Frame debate -a general mailing list useful for the organization of e-Frame events -specific mailing lists for field of interest Members will receive alert of the news of e-Frame project and re-alert of others projects and activities. A member of the network can ask Istat (EU Network Manager) to alert others members of the network on its initiatives e-Frame: European Network

13 e-Frame: Main outcomes (2) Stocktaking report on measuring progress and sustainable development (CBS) Synthesis of academic, NSI work and international initiatives Set of indicators: data availability and communication Handbook on measuring progress (ISTAT) Focus on “Policy relevance of well-being indicators” Identification of major policies which are supposed to affect wellbeing indicators Stocktaking activity, collecting policy analysis and policy recommendations already produced Roadmap for future research (ISTAT) Identify research needs and gaps in relevant information and methods Propose topics for future research in the context of Horizon 2020 and for future ESSnet projects
