Schooling Suppressing your creativity.

Homeschooling is often thought to produce close-minded students. However, it is the opposite. Homeschooling lets children grow creatively, without worrying about strict curriculums. Homeschooled students actually go on many trips, not just learn from home. They often meet as groups and the students can socialize with one another. School systems are just institutions whose goal is to conform students, suppressing their creative energy and inner geniuses.

Classrooms in schools are lead by one teacher. Often, it is hard for students to get individual help that they may need. Not every student learns the same way, so it’s not good to cram them all in one room and expect the same result.

Big classrooms are even worse. Students become unfocused and bored, leading to their dislike of learning. Curriculums are dangerous for students as many students might need a different style of learning. If one method isn’t working for a minority of students, it is thought to be their fault, and leads to them not enjoying school. Assigning a specific curriculum for millions of students will not be successful.

Schools often seem similar to prisons. There are guards everywhere, you can’t talk at all in class, you only have 15 minutes of yard time, they are often overcrowded, and you have a bell ringing after every period. This environment is routine and harmful to the creative spirit of young children.

Did you know that all these men were homeschooled? That’s right, the most intelligent figures in the United States were not enrolled in school systems. They were taught at home and self-learners. That’s because they all found their genius in their own way, not by following a specific system. Students need freedom of learning.

Did you know that this is actually a photograph of a homeschooling group? People often think homeschoolers are only parent-child, but it’s actually bigger than that. There are many homeschooling groups all over the country so that the students can interact with each other and make friends. They go on many trips to museums, parks, and zoos. Homeschooling is a big world geared to the child’s creative mind.

Schools often give too much homework, to the point that children begin hating learning. Children that struggle with certain subjects may need a different way of learning, but don’t receive that in school. Homeschooling gives students a balanced education, and doesn’t overwork their minds.
