1. PGY-3 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES  Access and critically evaluate current medical information and scientific evidence relevant to patients with medical illness in both in-patient and outpatient settings  Understand and utilize the multidisciplinary resources necessary to care optimally for patients with complex medical illnesses

PGY-3 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES  Expand leadership skills and teaching skills serving as a team leader on multi-disciplinary house services  Communicate effectively with consultants  Provide appropriate evaluations, reports, and recommendations serving as a consultant on both general medicine and subspecialty services

3. PGY-3 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES  Recognize professional responsibility to always place patient's needs first  Critically evaluate patient care provided in efforts to identify opportunities for improvement  Broaden knowledge base in critical care and sub- specialty areas of medicine
