The Mind of Christ Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:5-8)

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13  Obedient Hebrews 5:7-9

…In the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, 8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. 9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13  Obedient Hebrews 5:7-9  Sacrificial 2 Corinthians 8:7-9

But as you abound in everything - - in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us--see that you abound in this grace also. 8 I speak not by commandment, but I am testing the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others. 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13  Obedient Hebrews 5:7-9  Sacrificial 2 Corinthians 8:7-9  Submissive John 6:38-40

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13  Obedient Hebrews 5:7-9  Sacrificial 2 Corinthians 8:7-9  Submissive John 6:38-40  Loyal to the Father John 6:38

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. Consider the temptation of Jesus by the Devil. “And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.’ 10 Then Jesus said to him, ‘Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.”’” (Matthew 4:9-10)

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13  Obedient Hebrews 5:7-9  Sacrificial 2 Corinthians 8:7-9  Submissive John 6:38-40  Loyal to the Father John 6:38  Purity John 8:42-46

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me… 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do… 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?”

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13  Obedient Hebrews 5:7-9  Sacrificial 2 Corinthians 8:7-9  Submissive John 6:38-40  Loyal to the Father John 6:38  Purity John 8:42-46  Work John 9:1-5

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

The Mind of Christ  Love John 15:12-13  Obedient Hebrews 5:7-9  Sacrificial 2 Corinthians 8:7-9  Submissive John 6:38-40  Loyal to the Father John 6:38  Purity John 8:42-46  Work John 9:1-5  Courage Matthew 23

Matthew 23:25-26, 33 (25), Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self- indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. (33), Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

Conclusion For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 22 Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth. (1 Peter 2:21-22)
