2 Introduction The goal of this project is to model a multiagent system for smart home in order to manage energy efficiently Home is part of a larger network, where energy availability and price is in constant change All appliances at home are peers and negotiate to aid the resident

5 Role nameAppliance DescriptionThe role of home appliance Responsibilities  Perform service (schedule if necessary)  Determine energy cost  Get peer current status  Get user current state  Keep user history  Derive current priority for service  Negotiate with peers  Keep service cost history  Follow user instructions  Notify user of situation (regular and emergencies) Constraints  User instructions must be followed  Service should be provided efficiently
