-Tutorial No. 1

Welcome to your first tutorial on how to use the HR TruCheck program. In this tutorial you will quickly learn how to login to HR TruCheck. Database Systems International is a leader in the pre- employment background industry. The cornerstone of our business is providing quick, accurate information at competitive prices.

Logging In To TruCheck Three Pieces of information are required each time the user logs into TruCheck. This raises the security rating and lowers the chance of a brute force or dictionary attack on our security. Navigate to http://www.dsiinc.net to view the DSI home page. Click the HR TruCheck Logo to download the small application.http://www.dsiinc.net

TruCheck Home Screen This is the Home Screen. The tabs across the top of the form allow access to DSI services. This section displays the pricing list. Clicking the + beside the service name will expand to display the pricing per state if required.

Employment Screening This tab displays the cases that you may access. Access levels are assigned so that only the proper users have access. Clicking any group in the tree will filter the case list by that group. Use the filtering option at the top of the screen to filter the cases so that you can find a particular case. The row with the red background indicates that a criminal record was found. Double click the case row to view the details or click the View button in the tool bar.

Case Detail Screen Double clicking a case will display this screen. All the attachments and search results are accessible from this screen. Click the Print Results button at the top to produce a hard copy on paper for your files. Click the Close button to close this screen and return to the case list.

Add A New Case Click the New Case button in the tool bar to create a new case. Fill in all the required fields and add the details for each search you wish to perform. Once you have completed this form (you may return and modify this data before you create the case) click the Next Step button. This will take you to the Services Request screen.

New Case - Services This screen shows the services that are available to you. Notice that the top item is expandable which displays you the costs and the 3 rd party fees associated with each search for that service type. Make sure you place a check mark beside each service you wish performed. If there is addition information required (i.e. MVR requires a drivers license number) you will not be able to choose that service until you provide the required information on the previous form. Click the Return to Previous form to input the required details.

New Case - Consent All pre-employment searches require the candidate to sign a consent form. Click the Print Consent Form button to print the form. Once it is signed you can either fax it to DSI or scan it and then attach it by clicking the Attach File button. Click the Next to Payment Info button to continue.

New Case – Payment Once you have supplied all the required information using the previous forms you will be asked how you wish to pay for the services. Select your payment type and supply your credit card information or select the Bill Me Later to be billed once a month by DSI. Click the Create Case button to create and submit the case to DSI. Your newly created case will display in your case list. As DSI updates the case you will be able to view the details.
