4 … the majority of ICU beds in Czech Republic are located at departments of anesthesiology and intensive care (highest level of care) … there are also many ICU beds at various departments (usually provide intensive care at lower level - intermediate care, HDU ) dept. of surgery dept. of internal medicine dept. of cardiosurgery dept. of neurosurgery Intensive care units in Czech Republic

5 all major ICUs are also equipped (or is available) with: CRRT ICP monitoring bronchoscopes ultrasounds IABP machines 2 ECMO centers and 8 NO centers in Czech republic Medical equipment and devices
