1 OPC Alarm.NET

2 OPC Systems.NET OPCSystems.NET is a suite of .NET and HTML5 products for SCADA, HMI, Data Historian, and live data management that provides breakthrough, open connectivity, reliability, and security. OPCSystems.NET enables users to move data from anywhere to anywhere just the way you want it instantly. Now you can read and write live data to and from any of the following : OPC Servers, HMI/SCADA systems, Web services, .NET applications, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and Mobile devices (including iPhone, iPad, and Android).

4 WHY OPC Systems.NET? Performance – Scan 10M tags per second – 100 nanosecond resolution – Log 1M tags per second to a SQL database. Reliability – Windows service architecture always running / Data buffering at the source – Never lose data. Flexibility – Access data from OPC Servers, OPC Clients, Databases, Files, Existing SCADA Systems, .NET apps, and more. Scalability – Supports unlimited client applications / distributed architecture / live data cloud

5 WHY OPC Systems.NET? Secure Networking – Reliable data transport – WCF communications – data packets encrypted / fast / low bandwidth. Open Software Development – Microsoft Visual Studio Development Environment – Create world-class HMI / SCADA applications Software Integration – Access proprietary data / deliver data in an OPEN format / easier integration with business apps – MES, ERP, CMS, .NET. Economics – Low cost – dramatically less than the competition. OPCSystems.NET is a suite of .NET and HTML5 products for SCADA, HMI, Data Historian, and live data management that provides breakthrough, open connectivity, reliability, and security.

7 What is OPC Alarm.NET? OPC Alarm.NET is a complete alarm management system and alarm notification software system. Use Alarm.NET for process and automation data, relational databases, system performance, network and response data. Client applications can receive and monitor process alarms, operator actions, informational messages, tracking status, event detection, safety limits, and abnormal situations. Generate audible alarms, send , sms/text, and voice notifications. Plus, desktop and mobile apps to keep users connected to important data and events.

8 Live Real Time DATA available anywhere in any format you need to manage your business
1st The graphic was developed with a free app called Blender 3D. This picture was brought into Visual Studio and our animations were laid over it. This graphic is Winforms application 2nd our Trend control is very powerful with the ability to display many different types of data and an unlimited number of pens. You can display both Historical and Real-time in the same control 3rd This screen is from a company called JBT Aerotech. They build an airport monitoring system and this is their product called IOPS which was built with OPC System.NET. They monitor all automation in the airport from the HVAC systems to the Jetways. Each user that logs into the system has their own customizable set of screens that presents them with data that is meaningful and useful to them. This avoids them having to sift through 100s of different screens to get to what they need. 4th This graphic is from a customer in Ireland and was developed in an application called Solidworks. It was imported in Visual Studio and our controls were used to overlay animations. This graphic is a WPF graphic using WPF HMI.NET while the one above it is a Winforms graphic using OPC Windows.HMI.net 5th. Here is another customer example 6th This is our Alarm control. An environment where the operator can observe and respond to alarms. Alarm.NET was recently updated to include integrated Voice, SMS, along with the ability to attach documents to an outgoing and log Operator comments that become part of the alarm log. 7th another example of a customer graphic 8th an example of a dashboard.

9 What are the Advantages?
Critical alarm and event parameters can be defined on any data value in the network and can be used by a wide variety of business applications. Alarm and event thresholds and logic can be used to trigger alarm notification, alarm data logging, and operator actions. Process events and changes can be tracked and tied to operator and process actions. Data logging SQL databases in an open format with automated report generation, scheduling, and delivery. Alarm notification options include , sms/text, and voice messaging. Alarm visualizations for windows and web devices

10 What are the Advantages?
Industry standard alarm thresholds include, High High, High, Low, Low Low, Digital, Rate of Change, Alarm logic, Time on and counts analysis Log alarms, events, process changes, and operator actions to an SQL database in an open format. Provides for easy integration into other business applications. Alarms can be organized by group, priority, or severity and acknowledged by operator or escalation sequence. Alarm text can be dynamic, including document attachments, and operator comments field.
