3 General Document Format Guidelines (APA Style) Margins – 1” on all sides Font – 12 pts Times New Roman, Courier or Arial Spacing – double Alignment – flush left Paragraph indentions – 5 to 7 spaces Pagination – 1” from the rightmost edge; first line On standard size paper – 8 ½” x 11 Include a page header ( short title & page number) in the upper right-hand of every page.

4 APA Guidelines All lines after the first line of each entry in your reference list should be intended one-half inch from the left margin. Example: Brendt, T.J. (2002). Social development. New York: McGraw-Hill.

5 Authors names are inverted (last name first), give the last name and initials for all authors of a particular work for up to and including seven authors. Example: Abanilla, C.L.,Alcance, K.V., Aranilla, J.M., Balmes C.G., Laguartilla,M.E., Mendoza, C.S., Eule, M.J.(2013). Introduction to Librarianship. Quezon City: C & E Pub.

If an article appears on discontinuous pages, give all page numbers, and separate the numbers with a comma (e.g., pp. B1, B3, B5–B7).
