2 Spain is beautiful and is worth remembering that in addition to compelling the coast line, emainzing beaches and cities, also has extensive and also National Parks. There are a 11 national parks.

3 1. Picos de Europa The surface has 64,000 hectares and is located on grounds belonging to three of the Autonomous Communities: Asturias, Cantabria and Castile and Leon. Overgrown it mostly beech, oak and pine forests, and the most interesting animals that can be found in it, are the chamois.

4 2. Ordesa y Monte Perdido Is over 15 hectares and is located in the heart of the Pyrenees of Aragon. The park is mainly famous of the many specimens Pyrenean fauna. It is home to the circus with hanging glaciers Pineta and deep canyons - in Anisclo and Escuain.

5 3. Aigues Tortes with lake Sant Maurici Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is only one located in Catalonia. A wild mountain region in the Pyrenees, with peaks rising to 3017 m (Besiberri Sud) and with nearly 200 lakes, many of them of glacial origin, the park comprises a core area of 141 km² and a buffer zone of 267 km² surrounding the park. The park's name in Catalan is Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici, freely translated as "The winding streams and lakes of St. Maurice".

6 4. Tablas de Daimiel Located in a fantastic, in terms of nature, the land of La Mancha. Its surface has only two thousand acres, but this is where you can enjoy countless water birds that happen in this place their nests or seek rest after long journeys.

7 5. Cabaneros Is also located in La Mancha and counts forty thousand hectares. Its charm lies in the fact that the top of the Paleozoic origin adjacent to the vast plains and areas covered with low vegetation. In Cabaneros is the largest and best preserved part of the zone of the Iberian Mediterranean forest.

8 6.Donana is recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Nature. There are m.in.: branched hydrological system, consisting of streams, canals and wetlands, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, as well as beaches, dunes, scrub and woodland, providing a habitat for a large number of birds. Here you can meet Modrzyk czerwonogłowego, royal eagle and horned coot. It is also one of the last places in Europe where we can meet on, living in the wild, lynx

9 7. Amphibious Cabrera Archipelago here you can see, among others, low limestone cliffs covered with Mediterranean vegetation, among which their moorings were more than a thousand birds (shearwaters, cormorants and gulls).

10 8. TEIDE is located on the island of Tenerife and extends around the mythical Teide volcano with a height of 3,717 m. The park covers areas located on different floors of the heights, varied in terms of climate and landscape. Visitors can also see local varieties of violets and grass, as well as lizards, kestrels and Shrike.

11 9. Caldera de Taburiente Located on the island of La Palma. Hides in its interior the oldest rocks on the archipelago (Basal Complex) and is a true wonder of nature when it comes to water landscape. Grows, among others, Canarian pine and there are many endemic species of plants and birds.

12 10. Timanfaya You can visit this park, hosting on the island of Lanzarote. On its surface has more than three hundred craters from different stages erupcyjnych that give a unique testimony to the volcanic origins of the island. Park has its own unique chromatic coloring, sparse vegetation and fauna specimens such as lizard of Haria, hawks and shearwater.

13 11. Garajonay located on the Gomera, is listed by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage. You can see here the specific Canarian laurel forest stands with endemic pigeons and insects.
