2. THE TRUTH IS: JESUS IS OUR CREATOR AND SAVIOR
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
“For in six days the Lord made the heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them….” Exodus 20:11a
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.” Eccl 12:1

17. ISAIAH 40:28
“Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.”

18. “THAT I MAY KNOW HIM,
AND THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION, AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SUFFERINGS, BEING MADE CONFORMABLE UNTO HIS DEATH….” Philippians 3:10
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures; and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve…. v.6 he was seen,…v.7 he was seen,…v.8 he was seen”

20. IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH.
These ten words of Genesis 1:1 are some of the most important words in the Bible!
WHY?
Rooted in these ten words are the major doctrines of the Bible:
There is only one God;
There is only one Creator;
There is only one creation;

21. There is only one true, eyewitness historical record of creation (the Bible);
Creation started “very good” (no sin, no death, then Adam sinned, result=death);
Only the Creator would have the right and power to redeem His fallen creation;
Since there is only one Creator/God, the only way to God is the way He decrees;
One way to the one God means one Redeemer for the one race of Adam.

22. OUR UNIVERSE IS AN EFFECT.
An effect requires a cause.
An effect that includes time, space, matter, and phenomena requires intelligence.
An effect that includes information demands intelligence and power. (no intelligence=no information)
Our universe includes time, space, matter, phenomena and information, therefore our universe must have an intelligent Cause.

“God” = intelligence and power
“Created” = phenomena, action

24. “In the beginning God created.”
“God” (Elohim) is plural.
“Created” is singular (Heb: He created)
Did God make a grammatical mistake?
Same as saying “They was.”
God is a plurality and a singularity.
The God of the Bible is three in one.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit = One God

25. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Universe includes: time, space, matter
“In the beginning…” = Time
“...God created the heavens…” = Space
“...And the earth.” = Matter
Time = Past, Present, Future
Space = Width, Depth, Height
Matter = Solid, Liquid, Gas +plasma?

26. Our universe is an effect.
An effect requires a cause.
The Cause of our universe must have infinite intelligence.
Intelligence generates an effect as an exercise of the will.
There is one universe which is the effect of an Infinite Intelligence Who has a will and emotions (He was pleased with His results).
The Cause is named the Lord Jesus Christ.

27. THE UNCAUSED CAUSE IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:1-3

28. His name is The Lord Jesus Christ!
COLOSSIANS 1:16, 17
“For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
His name is The Lord Jesus Christ!

29. HEBREWS 1:1-3
God, Who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

30. THE FIRST TEN WORDS IN THE BIBLE:
Tell us our Creator made planet earth and put everything else in the universe around it
Tell us the foundation of our origin, purpose and destiny.
Tell us the proper way to understand ethics, history, philosophy, biology, geology, etc.
Tell us the origin and purpose of male, female, marriage, family, government, etc.
Tell us the origin of sin, cultures, languages, Israel, Gentile nations, dinosaurs, etc.

31. THE FIRST TEN WORDS IN THE BIBLE:
There is ONE GOD: the Creator of heaven and earth.
There is ONE REVELATION: God’s Word, the Bible.
There is ONE PROGRAM: God’s kingdom.
There is ONE PURPOSE: God’s glory.
There is ONE BOOK you can trust: God’s recorded Word—the Bible!
There is ONE SAVIOR: JESUS CHRIST

If Genesis 1 is not true and accurate history, then we can not be certain that anything else in the Bible is trustworthy; such as: the judgments, salvation, rewards, prophecy,etc

ATHEISM is an error because in the beginning, GOD.
POLYTHEISM is an error because it is GOD, not gods.
PANTHEISM is an error because GOD exists prior to and independent of matter.
MATERIALISM is an error because GOD makes the matter and is not composed of it.

35. THE BIBLE: Not one word has ever been proven wrong.
Not one fact has ever needed updating.
Not one scientific fact ever needs correction
Not one old hypothesis or theory needs adjustment because it has no theories or educated guesses.
It is truth that you can stake your life and your eternity upon.
It is changeless and enduring truth that will last forever!
