11 Upcoming Events UCSD Extension Student Grant Vouchers This Monday, March 2 nd is the start of voucher week for Extension’s Spring quarter classes. The voucher program allows full-time UCSD students to receive a voucher for up to $400 off an Extension course - essentially making it possible to take a language course at UCSD Extension for free! To obtain the voucher undergrads would go to UCSD Extension Student Services Building C which is located just south of ERC and west of TMC. Students must have their UCSD ID with them. Students can only get one voucher per quarter, but can get them each quarter they are available. Vouchers are first-come, first-served and always run out, so be sure to go early if you would like to get one for Spring!

13 Current Opportunities China Focus Essay Contest Together with the Fudan-UC Center on Contemporary China, China Focus, the student-run blog of the 21st Century China Program at UCSD is hosting an inaugural China Focus Essay Contest. The topic this year is: What is the biggest cliche in US-China relations and why is it problematic? Students are invited to submit a 1000-2000 word essay or a 10 minute video by March 30, 2015. Two winners will each receive a $1,000 cash prize!
