Do you think the men on the ranch find Curley’s wife attractive? Does Lennie find her attractive? Show examples of when she flirts with the men. How can we make a link between Curley’s wife and the stable-buck? Look at Steinbeck’s description of Slim, how do you think he wants the reader to respond to this character? What do you predict the relationship will be like between Slim and George and Lennie?
