Blocked by district – lots of inappropriate content However, you can capture the YouTube videos use them in your classroom using SaveTube and ZamZar.

Wide variety of teaching resources Content can be easily searched Contains over 26,000 videos (as of July, 2008) Videos can be uploaded or downloaded easily .flv format – requires a free player to view them

4 Download free .flv player
Open up the player Drag the .flv video clip onto the player Window can be enlarged by dragging the corner of the player Download free .flv player

5 SaveTube Free Captures videos from the Web
Solution to blocked websites Download at home and them to yourself or transport via flashdrive .flv format requires free FLV player to view

Copy the URL address

Paste the video url address in the space Select Go

16 Importing video into PowerPoint
You cannot import .flv video – will need to exit PowerPoint, open the FLV player and drag/drop video into it. You can import .wmv video Put the powerpoint and video into the same folder so they stay together. The video will not play unless it is in the same folder. Important

Go to the slide you want the video to play on. Under Insert > Movies and Sounds > Movie from File Find the video file and select ok You will be prompted to select how you want the video to be played – automatically or when clicked. Drag the corners to resize the video clip
