2 IntroductionParts of speech are the basic types of words that English has. The parts of speech are: noun, verb, pronoun, adverb, adjective, preposition, conjunction, interjection, and articles.
3 NounsA noun is a word that names a person, place, or thing. Example: man, city, car Identify the noun in the following sentence. The boy is reading. Answer: boy
