1 Preparation for Comparative online Case Study

2 Syllabus Outcomes H1.identifies and applies legal concepts and terminology H5. explains the role of law in encouraging cooperation and resolving conflict, as well as initiating and responding to change H8.locates, selects, organises, synthesises and analyses legal information from a variety of sources including legislation, cases, media, international instruments and documents H9.communicates legal information using well-structured and logical arguments. H10. analyses differing perspectives and interpretations of legal information and issues

3 Instructions Over the next 4 days, you will be completing an online comparative online case study which you will be assessed on. Everything will be online. You will be expected to submit all your work online, by uploading your documents in the spaces provided.

4 Instructions You will be asked to answer a number of short and long answer questions. There are also some essay style questions. Follow the instructions of each format. If it says you can write in dot points, then go ahead. If the questions states you must use references and a bibliography, then make sure you use them! Everything you need to know will be made available for you to read, so make sure you read everything!!

5 Instructions Make sure your responses are well-structured Make sure you spell-check and ensure your grammar is correct! Do not rely to heavily on quotations! Try and write as much as you can in your own words.

6 Instructions Read the questions before you begin your research! It’s a good idea to jot some points down as you read or watch videos. Don’t stress! For short responses, you are only required to write 1-2 paragraphs, and for the essays its only expected that you will be writing up to a page. There is no restriction on how much you write! Marking will be based on quality, not quantity, but make sure you write no less than the prescribed amount.
