3 Prueba – 12 septiembre Viernes: You will need to find a partner to write an exchange/conversation /skit together. Each person will have 5 statements/questions/responses neatly written on the paper provided. MS Spanish – will read but not STARE at your paper. HS Spanish – will memorize their lines. Spelling, pronunciation, fluidity, grammar – all will be taken into consideration. Use the rubric as your guide. Start writing and start memorizing. Pick a partner, exchange contact information. Do not repeat the same questions and answers back and forth. Your responses must be 2 or more words long. The following are examples to avoid: Hola, hola. ¿Cómo estás? Bien. ¿Cómo estás? Bien. Adiós, adiós.

5 Practicamos: Con la persona a tu lado hablamos español. ¿Quién es “A” y quién es “B”? Empezamos con “A” Luego “B” A: Greet them (am/pm) & ask them how they are – en español. B: Answer them by saying you’re well, then ask them what the weather is outside – en español. A: Answer them, then ask them for their name – en español. B: Answer them, then ask what time it is – en español. A: Answer them, then say pleased to meet you – en español. B: Thank them then say delighted and see you.

6 Practicamos otra vez: Empezamos con “B” Luego “A” B: Greet them (am/pm) & ask them how they are – en español. 7 Tarea: contact one another and decide the following information; write on a loose paper and NOT the paper provided. You need to identify what role you are playing, i.e. teacher/student or yourselves or two new students or mother/daughter, etc. Little Johnnystudent Little Susieteacher A description of the scene, i.e. Two new students. A teacher and student in the classroom. Mother and daughter chatting. Five questions and answers; each more than 2 words long; using correct punctuation and accents; no repetition. Each of you needs to have YOUR lines with your name beside your lines and your partner’s lines, with THEIR name beside their lines. Due tomorrow – 1 st rough draft.
