3 French in grades 4 to 6 You will learn French through many different activities, such as discussions and conversations with Madame, in pairs and small groups, and through games, songs, skits, plays and presentations, writing, projects, art, viewing videos, listening activities, and group and individual work.

4 Your marks in French You will be marked in four strands: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Approximate time spent on each strand: 15% for each of reading and writing, and 70% for listening and speaking = 100%.

5 How to do well in French class – advice from other students
