3 When you want to describe a person’s physical appearance, you usethe word and the correct form of “ser”. For example: To say, “Mom is tall.” You have to combine: Mom = mamá Is = es (3rd person of “ser”) Tall = alta (remember: mom’s a girl) Mamá es alta.

4 We’ll be working on creating descriptions for the rest of today. You will write at least 2 sentences (one with ser, one with tener) for 3 different people You need include 3 different forms (from: yo, tú, él, ella, usted, nosotros, ellos, ellas, ustedes) Starting next Wednesday, you will be asked to describe two people from memory This means you will include the two descriptions you have written for each person You can bring a visual aid with pictures or details written in English (no Spanish!)

Then, we will finish presentations! Don’t forget—on Monday, you will write a compare and contrast paragraph on the native groups you heard about!
