1 ConneXium Network Manager
A Network Management Software Solution that is optimized for Industrial Networks

2 ConneXium Network Manager
What is it? A Network Management Software Solution that is optimized for Industrial Networks Who is it designed for? Automation and Controls personnel who are familiar with Industrial Ethernet, PLC’s, HMI and SCADA equipment and concepts How to use it? To configure infrastructure devices such as managed switches To monitor network performance To alert personnel of real or possible problems To baseline and document network performance

4 ConneXium Network Manager
Why do I need it? For the same reason you need SCADA or HMI – to provide a window into Ethernet network operation and improve plant productivity. Devices are displayed with port connections or names Devices are portrayed with appropriate icons if available Inactive portion of rings are shown as dashed Display can be customized, background diagram can be added to correspond to physical location

5 Device Support Wireless devices Unmanaged devices Third party
Shows link status Logs changes in access point location for roaming Unmanaged devices Using Ping, finds devices within configured scan range. Third party Supports third party devices via Ping and SNMP Both infrastructure and end devices supported Any SNMP enabled device can be configured and managed using CNM

6 Let’s Play Start the ConneXium Network Manager software

7 Set Scan Range Create a New Project Set the scan range

8 Active Scan Ranges Multiple ranges can be set
The Active , the software will scan the devices in the active range

9 Device Discovery Displays devices found on the network SNMP PING
Identity Object ConneXium Network Manager matches the devices to existing profile

10 Auto Topology Once all devices have been identified next step would be to see the logical layout of the network.
