Established in 2009, mmbi, Inc. aims to launch its mobile multimedia broadcasting service to Smartphones with ISDB-Tmm receivers in major Japanese cities such as Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Okinawa in April 2012. The service expects subscription starting around USD 4/Mo. Shareholders include mobile network operator NTT DOCOMO, Inc. (owns 51%), Fuji Television Network, Inc., Nippon Broadcasting System, Incorporated, SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation, Itochu Corporation, Nippon Television Network Corporation, Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc., TV Asahi Corporation, Dentsu Corporation, and Sumitomo Corporation. Mr. Harunari Futatsugi, President and CEO of mmbi since July 2010, was Executive Vice President of NTT DOCOMO, mmbi’s parent company, until June 2010.

All Rights Reserved. 2 Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting in Japan A newly built mobile multimedia broadcasting network will be introduced nationwide after analog broadcasting network shut down on July 2011. Adopting ISDB-Tmm technology, enhanced from ISDB-T, which is proven through actual worldwide penetration. Expected date of launch: April 1 st, 2012 Nationwide mobile multimedia broadcasting  Spectrum bandwidth : VHF band ( 207.5MHz~222MHz )  Broadcasting area: Nationwide coverage with Single Frequency Network (SFN)  Services : Storage type service and high-quality real time service  Receivers : Mobile handsets / smartphones as primary receivers, followed by dedicated receivers such as tablet devices or PNDs.  Broadcasting system: ISDB-Tmm : An enhanced technology from ISDB-T
