A Christian Guide to restoring the identity of the God of Abraham to the Church today.

PATIENCE WORKS PERFECTION The replacement of decayed sandstones in the walls of St. Paul’s Cathedral has restored Melbourne’s most historic building. A patient replacement of the doctrine of the Trinity by the Truth of the One God can do the same for the Church.

We live in an time when peoples and events of ancient history are brought to life before our eyes through archeological digs on TV and realistic computer generated images. Now is the time for the Church to deconstruct its traditional but erroneous doctrine of the Trinity, so that the former knowledge of the One God can be renewed and the Church can be fully restored.

Does the accepted theology of the Trinity centre on the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, or is it the false construct of fourth century theologians? The answer can be tested by a single truth, one that Jesus himself called “the first commandment.” (Mark 12:29) Only by deconstructing the doctrine of the Trinity can we restore the truth that the LORD our God is One Lord.

MOSES: “HEAR, O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD!” Deuteronomy 6:4 JESUS: “HEAR, O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD!” Mark 12:29 Spot the difference:

The One True God is One Person “We know that there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him, and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” (2 Corinthians 8:6) “That they might know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3) The One True God is the Father

THE COUNCIL OF NICEA’S DECISION THAT JESUS HAD PRE-EXISTED AS ‘GOD THE SON’ IGNORED GOD’S REVELATION OF HIMSELF TO ISRAEL AS “ONE LORD” The One God was then seen as two co-equal persons: God the Father and God the Son. The declaration of the Holy Spirit as “the Third Person of the Trinity” was made at the First Council of Constantinople in 381 AD, and reaffirmed at the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD. Theological darkness followed.

Did you know that 56 years after Jesus was made co-equal with the Father, so too was the Holy Spirit? Those who refused to accept the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity were shunned as heretics and punished. To find God’s singular identity we must deconstruct the false teaching as to who He is, and in so doing rediscover the One God of Israel.

BREAKING NEWS! “God No Mystery” Truth seeker discovers word “revelation” accompanies “mystery” throughout New Testament. Theologians shocked: “May mean change in long accepted idea that God is mysterious.”

ONE PLUS TWO EQUALS ONE? 350 YEARS AFTER CHRIST’S DEATH THE ONE GOD OF THE BIBLE WAS DECLARED TO BE THREE-IN-ONE Theologians misunderstood the words of Jesus in the Gospel of John as referring to his preexistence as a separate divine person, rather than as “the word” that was “face to face” with God and ‘mirrored’ His purpose.

DECONSTRUCTION IS NECESSARY FOR RENEWAL The human counterpart of the Spirit of God is a person’s spirit. This is clear from the apostle’s words “even so” in 1 Corinthians 2:11. The human spirit is not itself another separate person. Nor are the soul and the body separate persons – otherwise each individual would have a multiple identity!

To see the individual as three separate and distinct persons that together form a human trinity is an absurdity. Equally absurd is the concept of three persons co-existing equally as One God. Theologians influenced by Greek mythology added the Son and the Holy Spirit only after ignoring God’s clear revelation of Himself. Jesus was one with his Father in unity of purpose, and in fellowship, in the same way that all of Christ’s followers desire to be. (John 10:28-30 & 17:11,21-23)

If God were Three Persons, why does the Bible refer to “Him” and “He” and not “They” and “Them”? If it be said that “He” and “Him” refer to the One God who is Three Persons, that would mean when we pray to God we address all Three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, simultaneously. Why then would Jesus teach that we should begin praying by addressing God as “Our Father”? God is One. Why fractionalize Him?

When we honour the Son we honour the Father. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last… Surely I come quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus Rev. 22:13,20 God’s glory is the Light of the New Jerusalem, and Jesus is the Lamp through which it shines. Revelation 21:23

3 – 1 = 2 – 1 = 1 3 – 1. Remove the 381 AD addition of “God the Holy Spirit” as “the Third Person of the Trinity” and the Truth that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father is restored. 2 – 1. Remove the 325 AD addition of “God the Son” as “the Second Person of the Trinity” and the Truth that “there is but one God, the Father” is restored. Jesus Christ is “the only begotten Son of the Father”. One Person = One God. Simple arithmetic!

This is our Confession of the One True God and His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
