1 Mathematical Treasure hunt
Mathematical Treasure-hunt: Number sense, operations and patterns up to 200 The first 4 question cards are EXAMPLES and can be used to explain how the game works before starting. Mathematical Treasure hunt 5 6 50 56 8 17 27 64 20 15 19 24 Answers Cut out each of the question slides and place them around the room. I prestick them onto walls, chairs, tables etc. Print out and distribute the answer sheet, one per learner (or team) and set them off to find the answers. The answer to the question is the number that they must find for the next question. For example, if the answer to the card they are looking at is 12, then they must look for a card with a 12 at the top left corner. That is their next question. Once they return to their starting position, they are done.
