2. Government France has a republic government. A republic government is a government where the head of state is not a monarch. The president of France at the moment is Nicolas Sarkozy. There is an election to elect the president.

3. Economy France is a mixed economy. It consists of a number of economies like, agriculture, industry, and labor. France imports industrial items, agriculture items, and more. France is coming out of a change in currency but the economy is rebuilding.

6. Climate France is mostly a rainy country. France has humid summers, and freezing winters. France is located farther north, so it's colder in the winter.

7. Country Flag The flag of France uses the same colors as the colors of the American flag, but they are in a different shape and order. The three colors, red, white, and blue stand for peace.

8. Currency France uses the euro now, but they used the french dollar before the 2000s. switching the currency was very difficult and took about 3 years. One U.S dollar is equal to 0.7559 euros.
