4 Ballarat Settlement by Migration Stream New migrants arriving in Australia between 1 August 2011 and 4 July 2014 and living in Ballarat as of July 2014: 631 new migrants arrived in Australia and were living in Ballarat as of July 2014 Of the 631 new migrants:  217 came under the skilled migration stream  222 came under the family migration stream  31 came under the humanitarian migration stream  161 came through unknown streams Source: DIAC Settlement Reporting Facility
