Similar figures have the same shape but are not necessarily the same size. Congruent figures have the same shape and the same size. So…congruent figures are always similar, but similar figures are not necessarily congruent.
What is true about the ratios of the lengths of corresponding sides?
The ratio of the lengths of the corresponding sides of similar polygons is the same for each pair of corresponding sides. The lengths of corresponding sides are proportional.
