5 Animal Adaptations Locust-have special adaptation of never having to hibernate. Monitor-it is cold blooded so it doesn’t burn up in the sun. Oryx-its adaptation is having long horns to ward off enemies. Scorpion-the scorpion has an adaptation of having a poisonous stinger to kill its prey to eat,and to warn off enemies. Vultures-Has an adaptation of having a keen eye sight for seeing dead animals in the desert to eat.

7 Physical Features in the Desert The Sand, Ahagger,Tivbesti, and Atlas Mountains Lake Chad, Lake Nasser Niger River, Nile River Barren and Rocky Plateaus Livuan Desert

8 Climate The Sahara Desert Climate is basically two sub-climates, sub-tropical,and dry-tropical, the dry is characterized by mild dry winters. The dry-subtropical part is characterized by anually high ranges, cold winters, hot Summers, and two rainy seasons

9 Main products Barley, Cattle, Citrus Fruits, copper, Iron ore, timber, livestock oil, lead, Natural gas, Phosphates, Uranium, Zinc, and Wheat.

10 The Nile River The Nile River is the most famous river because it is the longest, and it is one of the oldest too. It cover over 6,000,000 acres in Egypt, and about two million acres in Sudan. It flows for 4,145 miles trough northeast Africa.
