4 Making South Africa a Global Leader in Harnessing ICTs for Socio-economic Development Finalise BDM Policy  Draft amendments approved by Cabinet in December 2013  Final policy currently going through Cabinet approval process Facilitate Installer Training  Collaborating with industry to expand training facilities throughout the country using FET colleges  Training programme accredited with MICT SETA Co-ordinate Marketing & Awareness Programme  Multi-stakeholder effort involving all DTPS’ SOCs  Plans underway to collaborate with the Dept of Communications for all consumer messaging DTPS’ ROLE 4
