DOK 3 W.3.10 Write routinely over extended time frames (time for research, reflection, and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and audiences. Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing; a. Use correct capitalization; b. Use commas and quotation marks to mark direct speech and quotations from a text; c. Use a comma before a coordinating conjunction in a compound sentence; d. Spell grade- appropriate words correctly, consulting references as needed.

13 Your Role 1. Provide opportunity for your students to take the technology practice test in math and English language arts. 2. Talk to your associate test coordinator about AMP It UP! Day; he/she may request your involvement.

14 1. Testlets in ELA and math are currently available for teachers to use with their students. 2. Teachers must use their KITE accounts to access the testlets in the Educator Portal. Talk to your associate test coordinator for access. 3. The district website has resources to support teachers and the implementation of testlets. 4.
