8 Further Education: Washington University  Business Certificate: Olin Business School  The Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property / Technology  24 credit hours / 2 semesters full time (standard) May transfer up to 9 credit hours of IP course work from JD toward LLM  Required: At least one seminar with research paper  Recommended: Apply for unpaid internships during the program or immediately following the program. Alumni and friends of the LLM program offer opportunities in corporate general counsel offices and firms of all sizes.  The Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation  24 credit hours / 2 semesters full time (standard)  Required: Federal Income Tax, Corporate Taxation, Federal Partnership Taxation or Pass-Through Business Taxation and Additional 15 hours Tax Courses  Seven-Semester JD/Tax LLM  Federal Income Tax and 9 additional qualifying tax credits during JD program plus 15 tax credits during 1 semester full time after obtaining JD  Required: Corporate Taxation and Federal Partnership Taxation or Pass-Through Business Taxation  Admission  Complete Online Application (No Fee) & Release Form – Academic Record/Information
