South Campus Trail System 1.Golf course architects propose series of hiking/jogging trails for golf course area of south campus presented by Vice President Schaefer and Dean Downing at open meeting on golf course. 2.Senate sets up ad hoc committee to investigate proposed trails. Committee walks trails and recommends they are satisfactory replacement to then current trails. Committee recommends trails be left as “natural” as possible and well marked. 3.Administration announces in winter 2003 trails are in place and marked. 4.Comparison of trails by golf course architects and those on latest map are considerably different.
