1 Citing a Database With Articles from Other Sources

2 The first thing to look for is did this article come from another source. The original source information is usually given at the top of the article. You can tell that it is a book because only a year is given.

3 To begin the citation you must cite the original source. If it is a book, you use a book citation. First look for the author. If it is not given, go to the title of the article. “Le Guin, Ursula K.”

4 Then go to the title of the original source. “Le Guin, Ursula K.”Fourth Book of Junior Authors and Illustrators.
