The CV30 has the best combination of form factor, mounting flexibility and accessory options making it the safest and most productive in its class. Both Symbol units & the LXE (VX7 & VX6) share the same back case housing, so 1/2 screen & full screen computers have the same overall footprint and driver obstruction. CV30 magnesium case materials are unquestionably the most rugged materials used in the class. Wireless LXE remains a generation behind with only a 802.11b offering. CV30 and CV60 are the only dedicated Ethernet offerings; both Symbol & LXE rely on a USB dongle conversion & no Cisco Certified compliance. CV30 uses integrated antennas allowing for safer & more simplified installations.
