1 FYI/La Casa Grant Collaboration Awarded in October, 2005—Teen/RHY Dating Violence Outreach Grant--$75,000 Awarded in October, 2005—Teen/RHY Dating Violence Outreach Grant--$75,000 U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services Main Objectives of the grant: Main Objectives of the grant: –Staff Cross Training –Dating Violence Education for Shelter and TLP youth –Intervention for youth affected by dating or DV (experiential therapy for La Casa kids)

2 FYI/La Casa Grant Collaboration Grant has provided funding for the following: Grant has provided funding for the following: –Staff time and organization –Presentation materials –Updating video collection of dating violence education –Materials to be used for experiential therapy

5 Intervention for Youth Affected by Domestic Violence FYI Youth Special Project’s Coordinator Emilia Casillas has been working with our kids, offering special activities programming for children living at or receiving counseling from La Casa domestic violence shelter, focusing on experiential therapy.
