2 Participation in the Nonprofit and Public Management Center’s programs and activities are open to graduate students in the School of Social Work Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy Stephen M. Ross School of Business

3 To equip future leaders in the public, nonprofit and private sectors with interdisciplinary insight that can help them operate more effectively when working for or with nonprofit and public institutions. Mission

5  Working intensively with our three schools.  Partnering with nonprofit organizations across the country.  Developing sophisticated, comprehensive educational opportunities for our students. Our mission is actualized through:

12 Programs  Board Fellowship Program  Domestic Corps  MBA/BBA Class Gift Self- Directed Summer Internship Support  Course Listings  Workshops and Events

13 Board Fellowship Program  Serve as a non-voting board member for an academic year (mid-October-April)  Complete a board-level project, leveraging graduate-level skills  Nonprofit organizations vary with missions involving arts/culture, social/human services, environment, health, etc.

14 Board Fellowship Program  Recruiting begins in September  Attend one of the Board Fellowship Kickoff events for more information: Thursday, September 16, 7-8 p.m. R2230 (Ross School of Business) Monday, September 20, 4:30-5:30 p.m. R2240 (Ross School of Business)  Applications are due September 22 at noon

15 Domestic Corps  High-level summer internships with nonprofits across the U.S.  MBA students are compensated $10k for 10 week internships  High-level consulting projects, including strategic planning, marketing, and new business development

16 Domestic Corps  Locations may range from Detroit, New York City, San Francisco, and Chicago  Recruiting begins December with applications due beginning of January

17 MBA/BBA Class Gift Internship Support Looking to develop your own internship experience? NPM is pleased to offer support for MBA and BBA students serving in nonprofit or public management internships during the summer. Funding for these internships has been generously provided by a gift from the Ross School of Business Class of 2008.

18 MBA/BBA Class Gift Internship Support  MBAs will be awarded up to $10,000, BBAs up to $6,000  Deadline for applications are typically due late January- early February  Applicants will be notified by late February
