Frivolous Lawsuits? A convicted burglar sues the state of New York for $10 million, claiming that poor medical care was the cause for amnesia that made him leave his work release job and forget to return to prison. Man given 3 months to live by doctors quits job, outlives the prediction and sues doctors for lost earnings. Man thought he saw demonic 666 sign on his hand while working at construction site, so he removed his hand with a circular saw, then refused to let doctors reattach it. Judge tells the doctors to abide by man’s wishes, man sues doctors for not contacting his parents to overrule the judge’s decision. Zach Chambers University of Denver College of Law
