CHRISTIAN AND HIS SAVIOR John 10:10

Receiving Jesus Brings Life Before receiving Jesus the believer is spiritually dead. “…he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” John 3:36b.

By Faith the Believer Has Spiritual Life Christ lives in the believer. “…and we will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:23. Believing in Christ means to actively receive Jesus Christ into the life and heart.

Jesus Bring Abundant Life One who receives Jesus as Savior has life. Jesus wants that life to be abundant and full “…and that they may have it more abundantly” John 10:10b (plentifully supplied, rich)

Why Christians Do Not Enjoy An Abundant Life in Christ Do not depend on God for strength, wisdom and knowledge Look to their own ability: Pray hard enough Believe strongly enough Use human strength

Jesus Is The Vine He is the Provider. Those who believe are branches. The vine provides food and nourishment The branches bear the fruit

The Vine and the Branches Branches depend on the vine for nourishment A believer depends on Christ for an abundant life Christ lives through the believer.

The Christian Life Can Only Be Lived By Christ How to let Him live through you: Account that we He died for our sins Yield to His authority in your life Confess any area of your life He does not control as sin

Abundant Life Joy Peace Fulfillment Sense of Purpose Assurance of Heaven with Him
