6 A candy company packs chocolate hearts into large cartons at their warehouse. They then ship these large cartons to various regions in the Northeast. The chocolate hearts from each carton will need to be divided evenly among either 4, 5, 6, or 9 stores, depending on the region in which the carton is shipped. What is the least number of chocolate hearts that the candy company should pack in each carton?

7 Method for finding the GCF and LCM of given numbers m and n 1.Write the prime factorization of m and n. 2.The GCF is the product of any common prime factors. 3.The LCM is the product of the greatest number of each prime factor.

9 One thing that has constantly bothered consumers is how hot dogs and buns and beverages are packaged and sold. For example, Mr. Evans goes to the store to buy hot dogs for a barbeque. He finds that hot dogs are sold in packs of 8, buns are sold in packs 10, and the best deal on drinks are in packs of 18. How many packages of hot dogs, buns, and beverages will a Mr. Evans have to buy so he will have the same number of each item? Homework

10 Mr. Evans is preparing candy baskets for Valentine’s Day. In the baskets, he would like to include mini- Snickers, York Peppermint Patties, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Mini Snickers are sold in packs of 24, York Peppermint Patties are sold in bags of 32, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are sold in packs of 12. If Mr. Evans buys one pack of each type of candy, how many baskets can he make so that each basket is the same and that he uses all of the candy?
