2. What is CLC? The Christian Life Community is an international association of Christians: men and women, adults and young people, of all social conditions, who want to follow Jesus Christ more closely and work with Him for the building of the Kingdom.

CLC History In 1563 a Jesuit teacher gathers a group of students and the Marian Congregation is born Approved by Pope Gregory XIII in 1584 In 1773 the Sodalities become a normal work of the church when the Jesuits are suppressed Pope Pius XII pushes for renewal and reform and in 1953 approves the World Federation of Marian Congregations In 1967 becomes Christian Life Community – a new name and a new beginning
