4 What is A Management Plan “A path to the target” The Benefits of a Plan establish and clarify goals document woodlot health and condition document your active role (for IRS) strategize future possibilities schedule activities required for those in 480-a (for NYS) Don’t worry…it isn’t all that difficult

5 Let’s Plan a Vacation What do you want to accomplish? –This is the target, all questions relate to the target !! Who should be part of the discussion? What resources do you currently have? –Assets and their condition What actions need to occur? –Critical vs. desired actions –Sequence
