7 Grading n Class discussions: 10% in all –Students will be assigned to each of 9 units to respond to discussion questions n Short papers: 15% each –Due March 24, April 19 –3-5 pages of text, plus other materials –Analysis of readings other than the text –Submitted in two forms n Hard-copy, and replying to Assignment on TeamCMU n Quizzes: 10% total

8 Grading, cont’d n Term paper: 50% total –Due May 10 –Research paper of 10-15 pages –Topics n eCommerce impact on traditional marketing n Critiques of particular Marketing techniques n Proposed eMarketing campaign n Proposed improvements through technology n Feasibility and credibility analysis of textbook scenarios –Submitted in two forms

9 Quizzes n Outside class time, in weeks when no paper is due n Announced, administered, and graded via TeamCMU –Limited availability (probably 2 days) n A few questions each time related to readings

10 TeamCMU n Threaded discussion software for course administration –For public information/discussions relating to the course –(Use email for private communications) n Reminder section –Administrative notices –Course calendar –Your personal calendar (if you want it)
