2. Mea Nomes Je m’appelle Anita. Mommy’s pet name for me is “Neo”, and Daddy simply calls me daughter. In England, friends tend to call me ‘Nita for the mere reason that it is one syllable shorter. My Latin teacher addresses me as Anna, as my name originally derived from the Spanish meaning “Little Anna.” (Mea Nomes: Latin—my name) (Je m’appelle: French—my name is…)

3. My Childhood Dream For quite a long time I wanted to live at the North Pole. Coldness never bothered me, nor the thought of polar bears, because as a child my dream was to live with Santa and 12 sleigh dogs!

4. What I Like to Do For me, the ideal vacation would be to immerse in French. I find acquaintance with such a beautiful language a true blessing, and genuinely enjoy every minute of studying it. Besides French, I also like to occupy myself with some other books, as I have quite a wide range of reading interest. Sometimes, I do a bit of creative writing of my own also.

5. My Favorite Fruit I love apples for a reason that I believe to be quite unique—they were my childhood toys. In Buffalo, crab apples could be found everywhere. We would gather them, carve them, toss them, exchange them, or, after a “hard day’s play,” eat them! (Picture: Crab Apples)
