3. Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. 3 Hundreds of schools across Georgia are participating in the tax program. Harvester is one of them. As of 9/1/2010 more than $40 million of the $50 million allotted 2010 state tax dollars has been redirected to these schools. In January 2011, $50 million will be re-allocated for the program. Quick action from taxpayers is needed to secure funds for Harvester students before the end of the 2010 tax year. The deadline for 2010 is November 29, or until the funds are depleted…likely some time in September or October, 2010. Plan for 2011, reduce your with-holding. Send installment dollars quarterly. Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. 5 You Have a Choice HB 1133 is a 2008 Georgia law that grants an income tax credit to individuals and corporations who contribute to qualified student scholarship organizations (SSOs). Harvester has chosen to partner with the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program (GOAL). The passage of HB 1133 was an incredible victory for the school choice movement and your participation in the program is critical to make this victory a meaningful one. Pay income taxes to the state of Georgia. Redirect those same tax dollars to students at Harvester allowing more financial aid options and increased revenue leading to program and campus improvements for all families. OR

Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. 6 HB 1133 Requirements Individual and corporate taxpayers receive Georgia income tax credit for contributions to qualified Student Scholarship Organizations (SSOs) Individuals are limited to $1,000 (single); $1,250 (married filing separately); $2,500 (married filing jointly) C-Corporations can contribute and receive a tax credit for up to 75% of their Georgia income tax liability S-Corporation shareholders, LLC members and Partnership partners are subject to individual contribution limits Contributions are also eligible for federal charitable income tax deductionScholarships may only be awarded to eligible* students as defined by law. * Students must be enrolled in Georgia public school or eligible to enter PreK-4 or Kindergarten * Multiple year scholarships may be awarded * At Harvester, before scholarship consideration of any kind, students must apply and be accepted through the complete and rigorous admissions process applicable to all families.

Credit card payments may also be made through a Credit Card Authorization Form found on the website. Harvester school officials and GOAL Scholarship Program officials will manage the paperwork and approval process from this point. 2.Claim the Credit: – File your Georgia income tax return and take the credit (GOAL will send tax filing instructions early in 2011 to assist you)
